If anyone on the trip is found to not be prepared for the extreme elements of Mount Mitchell, and because of said unpreparedness finds themselves injured or dead… we (ACK) are not responsible for carrying their lazy body off of the mountain. We will, however, report your lazy butt to the appropriate authorites, after we eat Waffle House of course.

tyler has also joined us. andrew and i are making sure he is (ack) approved
ok guys… depending on weather, why don’t we try and meet up at Crowders Mtn for a nice warm up hike. Im aiming to be over there on Sunday morning. Not really wanting to hike in the rain, but beyond that I will be there with weight on my back and hopefully squeeze in about 6 miles. So with that being said, I ask you, are you up for the challenge? Would you like to join in? Just let me know and lets hit the trail!

Now that we have a Facebook fan page up, we added the trip to the events section. Go ahead and sign up for your prefered day there, as well. This site is still the main communication platform, with the Facebook page as a suppliment.
